Important:

We are looking for a resource with sample receipt and accessioning, and lab bench experience rather than phlebotomy.

Job Summary:

Under direct supervision by laboratory technologist, leader and/or supervisor, and according to defined protocols, performs select procedures on blood and/or other body fluids or specimens, involving manual techniques or the use of laboratory instruments and information systems. May perform phlebotomy as needed.

Requirements:

-

Completion of an Associate Degree Program in Medical Laboratory Technology or Laboratory Science. 3 - years of experience a MLT -BLS Certification -Epic, Sunquest CoPathPlush -Certification from a recognized national certifying agency (ASCP or NCA).
-Ability to communicate effectively with others.

Prior experience in clinical labs, handling specimens and comfortable in PPE. A fair amount of testing is prenatal testing.
-Demonstrated technical proficiency and theoretical knowledge sufficient to perform laboratory functions.
