Position Summary
The Medical Education Program Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the strategic and operational needs of our Undergraduate Medical Education (UME) and developing Graduate Medical Education (GME) programs. This role manages complex logistics, academic programming, communication workflows, and administrative processes. Serving as a central liaison between internal teams, external partners, and learners, the coordinator ensures seamless execution of educational initiatives in a dynamic academic healthcare environment.###
What You'll Do
Coordinate daily operations for UME and emerging GME programs.
Manage scheduling for academic programming, meetings, events, and learner activities.
Support departmental budget processes, including expense tracking, reconciliation, and documentation.
Process and manage travel, reimbursements, and expense reports.
Order supplies and maintain department inventory.
Develop and prepare presentations, reports, and educational materials.
Plan and execute orientations, workshops, academic sessions, and special events.
Serve as the primary liaison for internal stakeholders, learners, and external partners.
Maintain compliance documentation and support accreditation and regulatory requirements.
Manage departmental and program communications, including newsletters and announcements.
Assist with data collection, reporting, performance tracking, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Education
Bachelor's Degree required
in Education, Healthcare Administration, Public Health, or related field.
Minimum of four (4) years equivalent experience
in lieu of a bachelor's degree will be accepted.
High School Diploma or GED required.
Graduate Degree preferred.

Required Experience
Minimum of four (4) years
in academic program coordination, medical education, or healthcare operations
required.

Additional Skills/Requirements (Required)
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in
Microsoft Office Suite
(Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Experience with common office management software platforms (e.g.,
Concur, Infor, Workday
).
Experience with calendar management, event planning, and budget tracking/reconciliation.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
Project management experience (e.g.,
Asana, Trello, MS Project
).
Familiarity with accreditation standards such as
LCME
and
ACGME
.
Ability to analyze and report on program metrics and learner feedback.
Experience developing and maintaining
SOPs
and process documentation.

Preferred System Experience
Previous use of Infor, Workday, and Concur.
Administrative experience in an educational and/or healthcare environment.
