Job Summary


We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Medical Director to lead our clinical operations and ensure the delivery of exceptional patient care to persons struggling with substance use disorder. In this pivotal role, you will oversee clinical management, develop person centered recovery strategies, and ensure the appropriate level of care for all patients admitted into the program. Your leadership will drive quality care for a population often underserved and vulnerable to stigmatization. Responsibilities



Provide strategic leadership in clinical management, ensuring adherence to healthcare regulations such as HIPAA, NC State and Federal regulations. Supervise medical staff, including physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals, fostering a collaborative environment that promotes professional growth and high-quality patient care. Ensure accurate documentation by overseeing medical records management within EMR (Electronic Medical Records) and EHR (Electronic Health Records) systems. Collaborate with clinical teams on clinical care plans to advance treatment options. Monitor compliance with all relevant regulations. Drive continuous quality improvement by analyzing clinical data, implementing best practices, and promoting evidence-based medicine.

Skills



prior knowledge of managed care systems and healthcare management principles. Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems for documentation. Background in addiction medicine Deep understanding of physiology and anatomy to inform clinical decision-making. Familiarity with MOUD Demonstrated leadership capabilities with supervising experience in clinical settings or healthcare organizations. Ability to develop and implement person centered care. Competence in utilization management processes aimed at optimizing patient outcomes efficiently. Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively across departments while maintaining a focus on patient-centered care. Job Type: Contract

Pay: From $200.00 per hour

Expected hours: 4 - 12 per week
