Medical Coder/risk Adjustment Coder
Job Description
Shift/Schedule: M-F 8-5 ; Hybrid , local candidates only. 3-5 days of initial onsite training and then 2-4 times/month onsite depending on educational needs, site meetings, etc
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- HS Diploma/GED
- MUST be a Certified Coding Specialist (CPC only) - no other coding certs accepted
- CRC certification preferred with CPC
- 2-5 years of Risk Adjustment coding experience required
- Ability to work independently in a fast paced environment
- own ICD10 coding books (required)
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Work Location: In person
