JS Medical Billing, located in Bel Air, MD - Harford County, is looking for a full-time Medical Billing professional with at least 1 year of experience!

Responsibilities:

Full financial cycle consists of:

Electronic Claims and Remittance Clearinghouse processing and routing Pre-remittance proprietary edits Clearinghouse edits
Payment Posting:

EOB Indexing and Imaging Reconciliation
Secondary Filing:

Auto-matching of claims with documentation Efficient filing with the payer
Patient Billing:

Statements
A/R Management:

Resolution of charge issues Correct issues across accounts
Qualifications:

At least 1 year of experience required Competent in a billing cycle. Knowledge of medical terminology, familiarity with CPT, ICD-10 codes and modifiers, understanding of insurance verification and authorizations and ability to interpret explanation of benefits. Experienced with claim submissions, claim denials, claim follow-up, appeals, collections and knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid and commercial payers
