Busy Practice is looking for a

Full Time Medical Biller

with excellent customer service skills for our billing department.

This individual is responsible for Billing, follow-up and collection of all insurance claims; . Patient accounting functions including billing, collections, customer service, documents patient account activity, responds to customer billing inquiries, posts payments, follows up on Explanation of Benefits, performs other duties as assigned.

Use coded data to produce and submit claims to insurance companies Strong Knowledge of Nevada insurances required Working directly with the insurance company, healthcare provider, and patient to get a claim processed and paid Reviewing and appealing unpaid and denied claims Verifying patients' insurance coverage Answering patients' billing questions Handling collections on unpaid accounts

Requirements:

Knowledge of ICD-10 necessary

Qualifications:

Excellent communication skills

Computer knowledge

Think logically and able to troubleshoot problems effectively

Communicate openly with physicians, staff and customers

Maintain patient confidentiality
