Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Medical Biller & Coder to join our busy Hand Surgery practice in East Lansing.

Position: Full-Time / part time

Experience Required: Minimum 3 -5 years in medical billing and coding (specialty experience in hand surgery or surgical billing preferred).

Responsibilities:

Accurately code and submit insurance claims for surgical and office procedures Review documentation for compliance and completeness Manage claim denials and follow up with insurance carriers Verify patient insurance and process billing statements Work closely with providers and administrative staff to ensure timely reimbursement
Requirements:

? 2-3 years of medical billing and coding experience (CPC or equivalent certification preferred)

? Knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, and insurance guidelines

? Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

? Strong communication and organizational skills

Schedule: Full-Time (Monday-Friday)
