Overview


We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant/Receptionist to join our healthcare team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic clinical environment, providing vital support in patient care and administrative functions. The ideal candidate will have experience in Family Medicine, managing phone calls, faxes, and sending orders. A strong understanding of medical terminology, EHR systems, and patient service is essential to ensure seamless clinic operations and exceptional patient experiences.

Duties



Manage incoming and outgoing phone calls. Manage mobile medical assistant schedules and find providers and MAs to assist with telemedicine visits. Complete patient orders on behalf providers. Occasionally drive to patient's homes or facilities to assist with patient visits. Collect patient information, including vital signs, medical history, and insurance details. Assist with patient intake procedures and prepare charts for provider review Support clinical staff with procedures such as medication administration, and specimen collection. Document patient encounters accurately using EHR systems and ensure proper ICD coding for diagnoses Monitor patient vital signs and assist with basic physiology assessments Provide excellent patient service by addressing inquiries and ensuring comfort throughout visits Track and properly document CCM/RPM data, minutes and care plans. Assist with administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, managing phone calls, and maintaining medical records Collaborate with healthcare providers in various practices. Help improve EMR and phone applications software.

Preferred



Prior experience as a Medical Assistant/Receptionist Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and medication administration Strong computer and technology skills Familiarity with EHR systems and medical administrative support functions necessary for efficient clinic operations Strong patient service skills with the ability to handle diverse patient needs compassionately and professionally Ability to work effectively in fast-paced environment Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail for accurate documentation and record keeping Flexibility to adapt to various clinical settings including patient homes, assisted livings and skilled nursing facilities

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
