Job Overview:

We are expanding! We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our Research team. As a Medical Assistant with our Research team, you will play a crucial role in providing quality patient care. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about healthcare and have a desire to make a positive impact on patients' lives and the future of medicine. You MUST have the ability to multi task and have strong attention to detail skills! Pay DOE and Qualifications.

Duties:

- Perform vital signs assessments, including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiratory rate, PEDIATRIC BLOOD DRAW EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED

- Assist physicians and nurses with Research procedures

- Administer medications and vaccinations

- Provide basic life support in emergency situations

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records

- Provide medical administrative support, including scheduling appointments, managing patient records, patient follow-up

-Ability to effectively communicate with parents regarding Research Studies for which their child may be eligible to participate.

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a Medical Assistant program or certification
- Strong knowledge of human anatomy and medical terminology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to provide exceptional patient service with compassion and empathy
- Proficiency in medical administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments and managing electronic health records
- Basic life support certification preferred
- Previous experience working in a Pediatric clinic is strongly preferred.

-Comfortable performing blood draws with Pediatric patients (MUST)
