MED-1 is looking for great people to join our team! As a Medical Assistant/Phlebotomist you will be responsible for providing administrative and patient care support to ensure efficient operation of MED-1. You will support doctors and patients through a variety of tasks related to patient care management, organization and communication. The target is to complete all activities accurately, with high quality and in a timely manner. Primary consideration given to Certified medical assistants, individuals with Phlebotomy and/or Xray experience. Responsibilities
- Room patients and document basic medical history
- Schedule appointments
- Update and file medical records
- Check with patients and chart within the electronic charting system
- Assist during medical examinations
- Prepare and clean treatment rooms and medical instruments
- Provide a variety of services including; drug screens, venipuncture, immunizations, audio and vision testing, EKG, PFT, and x-ray.
- Proven working experience for a minimum of one year experience in a medical assistant role within the last 1 year
- Knowledge of patient management systems and procedures
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
- Social perceptiveness and service oriented
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and planning skills
- Primarily Monday - Friday 12:30pm-9:00pm/10:30pm-9pm
- One 8 hour holiday shift required per year
- One 4 hour Sat rotation every other month, 9a-1p
- Holiday pay and bonus incentive disbursement
- Compensation: $17.00-$18.75 per hour
