Medical Assistant/Medication Technician

Sai Adolescent Psychiatric Residential Treatment Center is a 10-bed center for adolescents ages 12-17 in Northwest Reno, NV. Patients have a diagnosis of Mental Health and/or Substance Abuse.

Medical Assistant/Mental Health Technician at Sai RTC will provide care to the adolescents in our treatment program. They will be responsible for:

The MHT will interact directly with members, providing compassionate care and assisting with daily living needs. Responsible for providing services to residents under the general supervision of Site Manager Responsible for performing tasks that are within the scope of his/her educational preparation, knowledge, and permitted by the policies and procedures. Responsible for making observations regarding member physical condition, behavior and responses and reporting any significant changes to appropriate supervisor and other staff members Maintains appropriate documentation Assist members with Activities of Daily Living (ADL) and facilitate/teach healthy behaviors and living skills Utilize behavioral and physical techniques to prevent injury to patients and others and to ensure a safe and therapeutic environment for member; respond appropriately in crisis situations Provides medical assistant services for the individuals we treat. Provides appropriate medications and therapies to meet the individual's physical and emotional needs. Provides therapeutic interventions to promote the individual's wellness. Provides therapeutic interventions to promote the individual's physical well-being. Maintains accurate documentation of patient care activities. Monitors and documents patient progress and condition. Ensures safe and clean environment in which patients reside.
