Position Summary:

We are seeking a

Medical Assistant (MA)

to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, reliable, and committed to delivering excellent patient care. You'll work closely with providers and clinical staff to ensure smooth and efficient operations in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet and prepare patients for exams, recording vital signs and medical histories. Assist providers during examinations and minor procedures. Administer medications, injections, and immunizations as directed. Perform EKGs, lab draws, and point-of-care testing. Manage patient records and update EMR systems accurately. Coordinate referrals, prescription refills, and follow-up appointments. Maintain exam rooms and ensure equipment is sanitized and stocked. Provide patient education on medications, procedures, and wellness practices.

Qualifications:

Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), Registered Medical Assistant (RMA), or equivalent certification. Current BLS/CPR certification. Previous experience in a primary care or clinical setting preferred. Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills. Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week
