Job Description
Valley Dermatology Center is seeking a Medical Assistant with at least 2 years of experience. Dermatology experience preferred. Seeking candidate who is skilled, detail-oriented, adaptable, compassionate and committed to accuracy. Good interpersonal skills are a must! You should be dependable, well-organized, and able to collaborate well with teammates. Wage depending on experience. Responsibilities:
- Handle all medical assistant duties in a timely manner
- Perform routine clinical tasks to support medical staff
- Phone and patient communication
- Escort patients to exam rooms and patient charting
- Working directly with the Physician
- Previous experience in healthcare administration or other related fields
- Familiarity with medical billing procedures
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Face masks are required. Patients are called in when a sanitized room is available for them, and loitering of patients is not allowed. Ability to commute/relocate:
- Wasilla, AK 99654: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
- medical assistant: 2 years (Preferred)
