Medical Assistant Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our dynamic and dedicated breast healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to a well-respected Breast Surgical Oncologist, ensuring efficient and compassionate patient care and smooth clinic operations.

Duties
- Direct patient care including: taking vital signs, recording medical histories, and preparing patients for examinations and ultrasounds, phlebotomy, drain management and minor wound care.

- Assist in minor surgical procedures, prepare instruments and patient for procedures.
- Provide medical administrative support by maintaining patient records, scheduling appointments, and coordinating referrals.
- Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems to input and retrieve patient information accurately.
- Support Breast Surgeon in delivering quality care to patients.

Qualifications
- Certified MA with a minimum of 1 year of experience.
- Proficiency in medical terminology and clinical procedures.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare team members.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Reliable, punctual and a team player.

-Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
