Job description:

We are looking for a compassionate Medical Assistant who can make a difference beyond the exam room. As part of our team, you will play a key role in primary care/specialty clinic. We go beyond treating symptoms, we care for the whole person, addressing not just their medical needs but also recognizing their social determinants of health.

You'll be part of a team that includes prescribers, behavioral health, community health workers.

Responsibilities:

Assist with patient care under direction of physicians
prepare patients for office visits and procedures
Provides indirect patient care via phone or EHR by addressing questions, processing
medical refills and scheduled follow-up appointments.

Performing EKG procedures and vital sign measurement
Updating medical Records
Supporting patients through their visit

Qualifications:

One year experience as a Medical Assistant preferred but not required
Completion of formal medical services training program
ensuring a clean work environment
Minimum Qualification:

High School diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED)
Medical Assisting diploma form an accredited vocational institution or a community college program preferred .
Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred
Ability to multi task and provide support to multiple providers
ability to travel from one location to the other (Salem/Keizer)
Pay: $20.50 - $21.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
