Job Description

We are a large, fast paced family medicine practice located in Rochester Hills, MI. Looking for a Full Time Experienced Medical Assistant. Some weekends required.

Responsibilities and Duties (include, but not limited to):

Patient Care, Vitals, etc.

Prepare Exam rooms for patients and procedures

Perform EKG's, X-rays, clinical testing, autoclave, administer injections, childhood vaccines, diabetic testing, and lab draws

Verify patient demographics, detail oriented, proper medical documentation

Stock and clean patient rooms and medical office.

Assist physician with minor procedures.

Call patients regarding results

Professional conduct and integrity in the workplace serving as a representative of the practice.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

Professional, courteous, pleasant and confidential manner

Punctual and reliable

Exceptional patient service and telephone etiquette

Ability to work in a team environment

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

High school graduate or equivalent

Medical Assistant experience

Medical assistant certificate or degree (preferred)

Knowledge of medical terminology

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
