Hybrid Learning: The course is a hybrid learning mode comprising of 720 hours (460 hours online theory and home work / quizzes + 100 hours clinicals + 160 hours externship) Classes are conveniently offered in the evenings and weekends to fit into your work schedule and allow for Career growth. As a part of the medical assistant course, you will be doing the Externship for 160 hours after completing 560 hours of theory and clinicals. As a Medical Assistant, you will be supporting the licensed staff and have the opportunity to work in different roles in medical offices and clinical settings. Under the direction of a licensed surgeon, physician, podiatrist, or nurse, Medical assistants perform non-invasive support services. Some examples include scheduling appointments and measuring vital signs with a patient.
