Position Summary: As a critical member of the Revibe Men\xe2\x80\x99s Health team, the medical assistant is responsible for performing blood draws and injections, preparing patients for examination, verifying patient information, and completing and maintaining patient charts. Position Responsibilities: \xc2\xb7 Perform blood pressure checks, blood draws, injections, and other various medical tasks as requested by the physician and manager \xc2\xb7 Communicate lab test results and physician\xe2\x80\x99s recommendations to patients \xc2\xb7 Work with the team to ensure smooth flow of operation \xc2\xb7 Greet patients with a friendly smile and properly check them in and out \xc2\xb7 Professionally manage incoming and outgoing telephone calls and E-mails \xc2\xb7 Receive and check-in medications \xc2\xb7 Process collected specimens, ensure proper ordering of labs and correct labeling of tubes, and send out for testing \xc2\xb7 Learn the EMR Clinic System and maintain and update patient records \xc2\xb7 Process, handle and deposit cash, check and card payments \xc2\xb7 Process incoming and outgoing mail/packages Position Qualifications: \xc2\xb7 Desire to learn phlebotomy skills and ability to deliver injections \xc2\xb7 Medical Assistant, Phlebotomist, or Lab Tech Certification a plus \xc2\xb7 Possesses superb phone skills by delivering exceptional customer service \xc2\xb7 Ability to work in a fast-paced environment \xc2\xb7 Strong verbal and written communication skills \xc2\xb7 Ability to work independently \xc2\xb7 Proficiency in computer/tablet use and typing \xc2\xb7 Flexibility to occasional added or altered hours as needed to meet the practice needs Revibe Men\xe2\x80\x99s Health provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, or genetics.
