Medical Assistant - Utah Orthopaedics

Part-time MA needed for busy Bone Health/Osteoporosis Clinic in Ogden, UT. Looking for a warm, outgoing personality AND relentlessly positive - that can interact effectively and in a supportive manner with persons of all backgrounds at all times. Need to be a "go getter" and "self starter". This is a MUST.

Knowledge of the Prior Authorizations' landscape is a required skill. I.e. Understanding of "Cover My Meds" and similar Internet Sites.

Duties and skills include but are not limited to: patient relations, maintaining patient privacy, obtaining prior authorizations for osteoporosis injectables, excellent telephone skills and etiquette, clinic workflow control, booking and managing clinic and associated paperwork, ability to work accurately and efficiently, work well under pressure, effectively using our EMR/PM system (AdvancedMD), enjoy change, and make our patients feel great about their experience.

Pay commensurate with experience, a variety of unique and traditional benefits offered. Prior MA experience required.

Position available immediately. Spanish language skills a plus.

Pay: $21.35 - $25.72 per hour
