Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in patient care and administrative support, with experience in various medical settings including dermatology, urgent care, and hospital medicine. Experience a plus but not required. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our clinic and providing high-quality care to our patients.

Responsibilities

Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures Perform intake assessments, including taking vital signs and documenting medical history Administer medications as directed by physicians and ensure proper documentation Manage electronic health records (EHR) systems for accurate patient data entry and retrieval Provide medical administrative support, including scheduling appointments and managing patient inquiries Prepare patients for diagnostic tests as needed Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment, adhering to safety protocols Collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver comprehensive patient care Utilize knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology to assist in patient education

Experience

Candidates should possess the following skills and experiences:

Experience in dermatology a plus but not required Familiarity with ICD coding and basic life support certification is a plus Strong understanding of patient service principles and commitment to delivering exceptional care

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 - $18.00 per hour
