Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team in the Milford/Dover areas. The ideal candidate will support our medical staff in providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced clinical environment. This role is essential in ensuring smooth operations within the clinic and enhancing patient experiences through effective communication and administrative support.

Duties

Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures. Administer medications as directed by physicians, ensuring adherence to safety protocols. Perform basic life support as needed, maintaining readiness for emergency situations. Conduct patient intake, including taking vital signs and recording medical histories. Provide medical administrative support, including scheduling appointments and managing patient records. Facilitate communication between patients and healthcare professionals to enhance service delivery. Maintain a clean and organized clinic environment, adhering to health and safety regulations. Demonstrate knowledge of anatomy to assist in various clinical tasks effectively.

Experience

Previous experience in an outpatient setting or Level I Trauma Center is preferred but not required. Familiarity with geriatrics is a plus, as we cater to a diverse patient demographic. Strong understanding of medication administration protocols is essential. Proven ability to deliver exceptional patient service while maintaining professionalism in all interactions. Knowledge of basic life support techniques is required; certification may be necessary prior to employment. Experience with medical administrative tasks will be advantageous for this role.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.50 - $20.50 per hour
