Position - Medical Assistant

Regional Health Systems is Northwest Indiana's largest provider of community-based mental health care, primary health care and addiction treatment services. We offer adults and children--both uninsured and insured--integrated care through our community mental health center and federally qualified health center. Regional Health Systems is a member of the Regional Care Group.

Position Description:

We are looking for a Certified Medical Assistant who will be a vital member of our team, they will provide both clinical and administrative support to ensure a smooth operation. This is a full-time position that will be working M-F from 8am-4:30pm.

Essential Functions:

Recording vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature and pulse Drawing blood and collecting lab samples Preparing patients for exams and assisting during procedures as needed Scheduling appointments and managing patient flow Updating and maintaining patient records accurately Answering phone calls and responding to patient inquiries

1441 E 84th Pl. Merrillville, IN

Schedule:

M-F 8am - 4:30pm

Requirements:

CMA or RMA Certification in Indiana High School Diploma or GED No experience required

Pay: $16.53 - $19.83 per hour
