We are seeking an experienced Certified Medical Assistant to join our team. We are in need of someone with exceptional work ethic and an expanded perspective.

CMA:

Duties and Responsibilities:

Patient intake and rooming.

Obtaining prior authorizations (medications, procedures, surgeries).

Manage daily phone calls related to, but not limited to test results, referrals, prior authorizations, medication refills, correspondence with our service vendors.

Explaining test results and rationale/ recommendations for follow up.

Schedule/ reschedule appointments as needed.

Perform order reconciliations- monthly.

Monitor patient cases for follow-up.

Ancillary Duties (as needed):

Complete visits by recording patient examinations, treatment, and test results.

Prepare patients for health care visits by directing and/or accompanying them to the examining room.

Answer questions regarding care.

Specimen processing.

Assist with chart preparation.

Skills and Abilities

Must be able to interact professionally and politely with patients and doctors.

Teamwork is quintessential.

Ability to communicate with patients in a pleasant manner.

Ability to maintain composure when dealing with difficult situations.

Utilize various computer technologies for patient information input.

Ability to recognize problems and recommend solutions.

Extensive knowledge and application of knowledge to the OBGYN field of practice.

Ability to multi-task in a busy environment.

Ability to assist in office procedures.

Ability to take vitals and patient history.

Qualifications:

Efficiency with EMR Preferred experience with eclinicalWorks

Medical office experience is REQUIRED

We are currently hiring 3 Medical Assistants.

We are currently looking for a bilingual Medical Assistant which is Highly desired
