Immediate opening for a Medical Assistant at a PROFESSIONAL & TOP LEVEL Urgent Care in Lakewood NJ 08701

Must be able to have a flexible schedule including day / evening / weekend hours.

Candidate must be experienced, flexible regarding scheduling, have great computer knowledge, great organizational skills, positive attitude and be a team player. Experience in phlebotomy a plus.

Responsibilities include:

Providing direct patient care, including triage, vital signs, history (blood draws a plus). EKG/Spirometry/Audiometry knowledgeable. Filing and scanning of medical charts. Assist with office clerical job responsibilities. Assist during medical examinations Organize and schedule appointments Greeting patients, answer phone and manage the front desk. Obtain & arrange laboratory services Produce and distribute correspondence memos, letters, faxes and forms Prepare and clean treatment rooms and medical instruments Demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness. Maintain complete and accurate documentation.
Salary will commensurate with experience.

Skills

Proven working experience as a medical assistant.
Knowledge of medical office management systems and procedures.
Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and priorities work.
Social perceptiveness and service oriented.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational and planning skills.
Proficiency in MS Office and patient management software.
