Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Medical Assistant/Phlebotomist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting medical staff in various clinical settings, including dermatology, emergency medicine, and internal medicine. This position requires a strong understanding of medical procedures, patient management, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures. Perform basic life support and emergency response as needed. Administer medications and manage medication records. Prepare patients for examinations by taking vital signs and medical histories. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the examination rooms and equipment. Document patient information accurately in electronic health records (EHR) systems. Support the operation of the clinic or office by managing appointments and patient flow. Collaborate with medical staff to ensure optimal patient care in various specialties, including addiction medicine and psychiatry.
Skills

Proficient knowledge of physiology and anatomy relevant to patient care. Experience or familiarity with dermatology practices is preferred. Understanding of emergency medicine protocols and procedures. Ability to perform basic life support techniques effectively. Competence in medication administration techniques and safety protocols. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for accurate documentation. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare professionals. Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a compassionate approach to patient care.
Requirements: National Certification in Medical Assisting
