Job:
We are seeking a Medical Assistant (MA) to join our healthcare team in Knoxville, TN. The ideal candidate will possess a medical assistant certification and exhibit strong aptitude in anticipating the needs of both physicians and patients. Key duties include recording patient information, maintaining accurate medical records using EMR systems, and assisting physicians in daily tasks. Duties encompass rooming, preparing biopsy carts, and addressing physicians' specific requests. Additional involvement such as escorting patients to and from exam rooms, ensuring seamless patient transitions for providers with efficient workflow, work closely with ultrasound and mammogram techs, and other team members in a cooperative environment. This position is located in an outpatient setting, with a consistent Monday-Friday schedule during standard business hours. No nights and weekends not required unless under special circumstances on a Saturday morning. Better than average pay and benefits.
