BJC HealthCare is Now Hiring a Full-Time Registered Medical Assistant (RMA / CMA) at our Parkland Convenient Care (534 Maple Valley Dr. Farmington MO 63640)

Position Details:

• 3 - 12 hour shifts per week (The clinic is open 8am-8pm 7 days a week & position will include working alternating weekends)
• 2 years working in clinical office setting (preferred)
• Ability to cross train as a PSR to be able to work as MA and PSR as needed.
• Great customer service skills and able to work in fast paced environment

Location is near -Doe Run, MO \xe2\x80\x93 Park Hills, MO \xe2\x80\x93 Sainte Genevieve, MO \xe2\x80\x93 Bonne Terre, MO - Desoto, MO - Washington County, St. Francis County, Iron County, Madison County, Jefferson County

Requirements:

• RMA / CMA
• CMS CMA or RMA through (AAMA, AMT, NCCT, or NHA)
• Must provide proof of MA Certification or Registration upon hiring

Preferred Qualifications

Role Purpose

The Medical Assistant (MA) provides medical assistance under the direction of a physician or other licensed provider. This position performs select duties for the promotion of health in the care of patients and delivers care according to practice protocols and procedures.

Responsibilities * Cleans, prepares and stocks supplies in exam rooms.

• Obtains vital signs, patient history and maintains accurate and prompt charting in the patient\'s record.
• Performs clinical skills, such as phlebotomy, electrocardiography (EKGs), point-of-care testing and injections.
• Triage calls, provide test and lab results to patients and present relevant information to provider with correct medical terminology.

Minimum Requirements

Licenses & Certifications * Cert/Reg in Area of Expertise

Preferred Requirements
