Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our busy, well-established cardiology practice in Greenwich, CT. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in cardiology or a related medical specialty, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities
Complete patient intakes, obtain vitals, and document notes in the EMR Communicate chief complaints and patient updates to the physician Prepare patients for stress tests and other cardiology procedures Place and monitor cardiac event devices (e.g., Holter, patch monitors) Adjust patient medications under physician guidance Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and administrative staff Sterilize equipment and maintain exam rooms Perform ECGs and assist with other diagnostic testing Manage clinical-related calls and follow up with patients Educate patients on treatments, procedures, and follow-up care
Qualifications
Previous experience as a Medical Assistant or in a clinical healthcare role Prior cardiology experience preferred Proficient with medical tools, equipment, and EMR systems Strong interpersonal and communication skills Compassionate, professional, and patient-centered demeanor Bilingual in
English and Spanish
