Medical Assistant At West Michigan Cardiology
Job Description
West Michigan Cardiology is looking for a full time medical assistant to join our team in Grand Rapids and two for Greenville.
Our ideal candidate is attentive, motivated, and hard-working.
Responsibilities
Verify and maintain patient records
Set up and sanitize of exam rooms
Room patients
Complete basic routine medical procedures and testing (loop implants, stress testing, nuclear testing, EKGs, etc)
Make phone calls, start encounters, enter labs, prior authorizations, etc.
Provide consistent exceptional patient care
Qualifications
Experience working in a medical field is preferred but not required
High attention to detail with exceptional organizational skills
Ability to multitask
High school diploma or GED
Must be CPR/AED certified within 90 days of hire
Hours: 8:00am -4:30pm
Days: Monday - Friday, no holidays or weekends
