Rio Grande Dermatology is seeking an experienced and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our growing team. This is a

About the Role:

This role will work with both our MD's and PA's to support the diverse needs of our patients. Candidates should have a

minimum of 1 year of previous medical assisting experience

, preferably in a fast-paced specialty. Previous dermatology experience is helpful, but not required.

Candidates should be proficient with rooming/taking vitals, scribing, charting, assisting with minor procedures (biopsies, etc.), submitting prior authorizations for medications/procedures, injections, and other general medical assistant tasks. Ideal candidates will be easy-going, have strong oral and written communication skills, and demonstrate a kind and compassionate attitude.

Minimum of 1 year of previous experience
