What You'll Do:

Provide quality, timely medical care to stabilize clients and enable them to engage fully in

treatment

Assist with all nursing shift duties (vitals, drug screens, medication administration, charting and reporting etc.) Collaborate with extended medical and clinical teams for seamless coordination of care Manage, order and res-stock all medical supplies as necessary Schedule medical appointments and arrange aftercare providers for post-discharge Assist with all pharmacy needs and prescription authorizations Handle pharmacy communications

Education/Requirements:

Must have high school diploma/ GED Must have valid driver's license with clean record Minimum 1 year of industry related experience in a healthcare setting

Basic understanding of medications

Avenues Recovery Center at Lake Ariel is a 40 - bed residential facility offering drug and alcohol detox and inpatient rehabilitation services. Nestled on 5.19 acres of the beautiful Poconos mountains, this homey yet modern establishment provides the ideal setting for clients to cleanse themselves of all harmful substances and embark on their journey to sustained recovery. With round-the-clock supervision and care, our clients' every need is met with dignity and compassion before it arises. Our dedicated staff include skilled primary therapists and clinicians, nurse practitioners, addictions counselors and behavioral health technicians - all of whom help to create a warm, accepting, and non-judgmental atmosphere which fosters openness and healing.
