Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Technician to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with individuals with geriatrics and will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care. This role involves assisting with various medical tasks, ensuring the well-being of patients, and maintaining accurate medical documentation.

Duties

Provide direct patient care, including assistance with daily living activities and personal hygiene. record vital signs, ensuring timely reporting of any changes to the healthcare team. Administer medications as prescribed and document accordingly. Assist in tube feeding and catheter care for patients requiring specialized support. Engage in memory care activities to support cognitive function in patients. Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans. Utilize Epic software for patient records management and documentation.

Qualifications

Proficiency in taking vital signs and understanding their significance in patient care. Familiarity with medication administration protocols and medical documentation practices. Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare professionals. Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while demonstrating compassion and empathy towards patients. Certification or training in relevant medical fields is a plus.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $16.50 per hour
