Responsibilities:
- Collect and record patient medical information and vital signs
- Assist with patient care activities, such as bathing, dressing, and feeding
- Assist with self administration of medications and treatments as directed by healthcare providers
- Prepare and maintain medical equipment and supplies
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality
- Assist with the transportation of patients within the facility
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 6 Hour Medication Technican course (In Person)
- Knowledge of medical documentation and record keeping
- Understanding of physiology and anatomy
- Experience working in a nursing home, hospital, or similar healthcare setting
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems (e.g., PCC)
- Ability to accurately measure and record vital signs
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
