Position Summary
The Nurse Practitioner (NP) in a medical spa provides advanced aesthetic and wellness services under the supervision of the Medical Director. This role includes performing cosmetic procedures, delivering patient consultations, developing personalized treatment plans, and ensuring safe, high-quality clinical care in accordance with state regulations and med spa protocols
Key ResponsibilitiesClinical Duties
Perform non-surgical aesthetic treatments such as:
Neurotoxin injections (e.g., Botox, Dysport)
Dermal fillers
Laser treatments (hair removal, skin resurfacing, vascular/ pigment correction)
Microneedling/ RF microneedling
PRP/PRF procedures
Chemical peels and skin-rejuvenation services
Conduct thorough patient evaluations, including medical history review and assessment of aesthetic goals.
Develop and execute individualized treatment plans.
Patient Care & Communication
Educate patients on procedures, expectations, aftercare, and potential risks.
Operational Responsibilities
Maintain clinical equipment and supplies, reporting any issues or shortages.
Collaborate with the Medical Director and team to update protocols and ensure compliance with state laws.
Participate in training, continuing education, and skill development in aesthetic techniques.
Assist with treatment room preparation and cleaning between patients.
Business & Team Support
Contribute to the med spa's reputation for excellence through outstanding service and results.
Support sales of skincare or wellness products by offering professional recommendations.
Participate in staff meetings, marketing initiatives, and promotional events as needed.
Maintain accurate and detailed patient documentation.
Provide follow-up care and respond to patient concerns professionally and promptly.
Build strong relationships to support patient satisfaction and retention.
Qualifications
Master's or Doctorate degree in Nursing; active Nurse Practitioner license.
Skills
Current state licensure and certifications (NP, RN, prescriptive authority as required).
Prior experience in aesthetics, dermatology, plastics, or related specialties preferred.
Certifications in injectables, laser safety, and aesthetic procedures (preferred or required based on state).
BLS/CPR certification.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $135,000.00 per year
