Job Description
This Mechanical/Industrial Engineer will troubleshoot, maintain, and improve industrial textile machinery in a dynamic manufacturing environment. This position offers the opportunity to work on the floor, drive innovation, and contribute to a small, collaborative team.
This Mechanical/Industrial Engineer will:
- Troubleshoot and repair textile machinery and systems
- Design and install new equipment and automation
- Create CAD drawings and documentation for repairs and improvements
- Support two maintenance departments across two plants
- Operate and monitor boilers, effluent systems, and wells
- Ensure environmental and ISO compliance
- Identify and implement energy-saving opportunities
- Maintain SOPs and technical documentation

A successful Mechanical/Industrial Engineer should have:
- Associate's degree or higher in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering
- 3+ years in manufacturing (textiles, plastics, or heavy machinery preferred)
- Proficiency in CAD and Microsoft Excel
- Strong hands-on troubleshooting and documentation skills
- Knowledge of ISO standards; LEAN/Six Sigma a plus
- Excellent communication and planning abilities
- Curiosity, initiative, and a drive to innovate
