Job Description

This Mechanical/Industrial Engineer will troubleshoot, maintain, and improve industrial textile machinery in a dynamic manufacturing environment. This position offers the opportunity to work on the floor, drive innovation, and contribute to a small, collaborative team.
This Mechanical/Industrial Engineer will:

  • Troubleshoot and repair textile machinery and systems
  • Design and install new equipment and automation
  • Create CAD drawings and documentation for repairs and improvements
  • Support two maintenance departments across two plants
  • Operate and monitor boilers, effluent systems, and wells
  • Ensure environmental and ISO compliance
  • Identify and implement energy-saving opportunities
  • Maintain SOPs and technical documentation

A successful Mechanical/Industrial Engineer should have:
  • Associate's degree or higher in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering
  • 3+ years in manufacturing (textiles, plastics, or heavy machinery preferred)
  • Proficiency in CAD and Microsoft Excel
  • Strong hands-on troubleshooting and documentation skills
  • Knowledge of ISO standards; LEAN/Six Sigma a plus
  • Excellent communication and planning abilities
  • Curiosity, initiative, and a drive to innovate
