Mechanical Test Engineer Co-Op

THE ROLE:
Our site in Chaska, MN is seeking a Mechanical Test Engineer Co-Op to join our team for the Spring 2026 season. This assignment is intended to be 6 months in duration, beginning in January until June.
In this co-op, you will assist with the extensive product testing portfolio.
What You'll Do:
Provide accurate, expedient characterization and analysis of wafer and reticle handling products and technologies using laboratory equipment.
Analyzes test data, writes test reports and PowerPoint presentations and gives oral presentations.
Work on testing projects with Team members.
Develop new, creative, and robust test methods with high regard for product reliability.
Design, build and test laboratory equipment and test fixtures.
What We Seek:
Currently enrolled student within a Mechanical Engineering major. Applicants with a Chemical Engineering or Electrical Engineering major will also be considered.
Creo and/or SOLIDWORKS user a plus.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, customer-oriented work environment.
Ability to work in a team setting.
Technically creative and highly analytical.
Learn complex subjects quickly.
Eligibility

• Must be a currently enrolled student
• Available to work 40 hours a week, M-F (8a-5p) beginning in January through June.
• Must be familiar with the universities requirements to participate in a co-op program

Compensation: $25-$30/per hour range with actual pay dependent on candidate overall skills for the role.
