Our client, a leader in building maintenance and facility management, is seeking a Mechanical Technician to join their team. As a Mechanical Technician, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting the Facilities and Operations teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?

• Perform maintenance and repairs on building systems, equipment, and assets to ensure optimal operation.
• Manage and maintain spare and replacement parts inventories for efficient repairs.
• Support manufacturing process equipment, including pumps, motors, hydraulics, and process systems.
• Conduct preventative maintenance to prevent equipment breakdowns and ensure safety compliance.
• Assist with building automation and utility systems, including HVAC/R, temperature, and pressure controls.

What's Needed?

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Completion of an applicable technical training program is desirable.
• Minimum of one year of applicable experience in building repair, maintenance, plumbing, or electrical work.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both oral and written.
• Valid state driver's license.
