, this role ensures all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with quality and safety standards.
The Project Manager serves as the main point of contact throughout the project lifecycle--coordinating between internal teams, field supervision, vendors, inspectors, and clients to achieve successful outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Project Management & Execution
Develop and manage detailed project execution, staffing, and scheduling plans.
Coordinate project scope, design specifications, and contract requirements.
Prioritize workloads to meet deadlines and budgetary goals.
Communicate project goals, updates, and progress to key stakeholders.
Monitor and report financial performance, budgets, and forecasts.
Vendor & Subcontractor Coordination
Estimate, negotiate, and procure materials, equipment, and subcontractor services.
Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, subcontractors, and field teams.
Technical Oversight & Compliance
Review project documents for technical accuracy and compliance with codes and standards.
Oversee adherence to
OSHA safety regulations
and job site safety protocols.
Support QA/QC efforts and ensure quality standards are met.
Administrative & Reporting Duties
Maintain project documentation, including contracts, RFIs, submittals, schedules, and closeout records.
Track project milestones and manage digital documentation and file sharing.
Support clients with warranty inquiries and post-project issues.
Assist with additional duties and special projects as assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelor's or Associate Degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
3+ years
of experience managing mechanical or MEP construction projects.
Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, and client expectations.
Strong organizational and time management skills in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
Proficiency in
Microsoft Office Suite
(Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Ability to interpret and coordinate mechanical/electrical construction documents.
Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities.
Self-motivated, professional, and capable of working independently.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $95,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
