Overview

Eastern Mechanical Contractors is seeking an experienced Commercial Plumbing and HVAC Project Manager to oversee all phases of mechanical projects from pre-construction through closeout. The role requires strong leadership, technical knowledge, and organizational skills to manage budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and client relationships effectively.

Key responsibilities

Plan, coordinate, and manage commercial plumbing and HVAC projects from start to finish. Review contract documents, specifications and drawings to ensure compliance and accuracy. Develop project schedules, budgets and manpower forecasts. Coordinate with estimators, foreman, subcontractors and vendors to ensure timely completion. Prepare and Track submittals, RFIs, change orders and project documentation. Monitor project costs and profitability, identifying potential risks and implementing corrective actions. Manage project documentation using tools such as ProCore and Bluebeam. conduct regular site visits to oversee progress, quality and safety. Serve as primary point of contact for clients ensuring satisfaction and repeat business. Assist with project closeout including punch lists, warranties, and final documentation.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience managing commercial plumbing and/or HVAC projects. Strong understanding of mechanical systems, blueprints and construction processes. Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills. Excellent project management skills with a focus on coordination and execution. Osha 30 certification a plus.

Pay: $76,802.84 - $120,000.00 per year
