About the role:
We are looking for a mechanically inclined hard-working individual to join our team. Reporting to our Site Lead, you will be responsible for the following: routine maintenance on machines and equipment around the plant, operate the bagging/treating/conditioning line, and help in other areas as needed. Working closing with the Site Lead you will help ensure facilities are well-maintained and production runs smoothly and efficiently while helping us continue to offer high-quality seed to our customers.

Essential Duties:
Assist in crop production activities such as planting and harvest
Lead in seed conditioning, treating and packaging operations
Look for ways to improve processes and procedures to be more efficient and cost-effective
Perform duties assigned to meet company quality standards including maintenance, housekeeping, and safety.
Education/Experience:
Prefer Bachelor's degree in Plant Sciences, Agriculture, or Mechanical related field.
Experience operating equipment/forklifts
1-3 years of related work experience preferred.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Good mechanical aptitude to detect and repair equipment issues.
Ability to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Excellent organizational skills
Strong attention to detail
Ability to work efficiently independently
Physical Demands:
Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
Ability to work indoors and outdoors in hot, cold, wet, and dry conditions
Ability to work long hours during peak times of the year
Ability to be active and stand and walk throughout the day.
Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 - 50.0 per week
