Inside the Role Interns will gain knowledge and experience through exciting and real-life learning opportunities. Interns must work in accordance with DTNA's core values of passion, respect, integrity and discipline. Internship positions can be located at various DTNA locations across the US. We are looking for high performing and motivated individuals in various areas within DTNA organizations. DTNA internships begin each summer in May or June.
Interns in this role may have the opportunity to transition into a full-time position subject to manager evaluations and business availability.
Manufacturing Engineering supports primarily Thomas Built Bus (TBB) products including the Jouley EV Bus and new D2. This intern will be working on short term projects to support direct problem solving or specific projects to improve our safety, quality, and efficiency of our operation. This internship will provide exposure to new technologies and the opportunity to suggest process improvements. This intern will support the production of new and existing school bus designs, combining conventional and electric powertrains in a single assembly plant. The intern will assist in standardizing, improving, and developing new manufacturing processes as needed.
