Job Description

We're seeking a hands-on Strategic Manufacturing Engineer to support both repeat and custom fabrication jobs. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced production environment and enjoys solving complex engineering challenges. You'll work directly with engineering drawings, mylar templates, and CAD models to ensure high-quality output and efficient production processes.
Key Responsibilities

• Interpret and work from engineering drawings, mylar templates, and CAD models
• Use CATIA, SolidWorks, and Mastercam for modeling and CNC programming
• Create and manage water jet programs using OMAX software
• Support press brake and water jet operations with engineering input
• Perform planning tasks including job traveler review, parts lists, hardware, masking, and paint finishes
• Extract data and generate inspection drawings for quality assurance
• Troubleshoot fabrication issues and resolve discrepancies in part production
• Occasionally assist in product development for in-house designs

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• 3-5+ years of experience in a fabrication or manufacturing environment
• Strong understanding of GD&T and geometric tolerancing
• Proficiency in:

• CAD tools: CATIA, SolidWorks
• CAM tools: Mastercam
• Water jet software: OMAX
• Experience with sheet metal, tubing, and welding assembly
• CNC programming experience for milling and turning operations
• Aerospace experience preferred, but candidates from other industries are welcome
• Excellent problem-solving and hands-on troubleshooting skills

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of West Chester, PA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $49.00 - $61.00/hr.
