Now Hiring: Mechanical Engineer - Contract to Hire

We are seeking an intermediate to experienced Mechanical Engineer to join a collaborative team working on high-profile, multimillion-dollar projects. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with the Engineering Principal and Project Engineer across all phases of project delivery, with potential for long-term growth and partnership.
Key Responsibilities

• Manage multiple projects concurrently with clear internal communication.
• Perform mechanical load calculations and equipment sizing.
• Prepare mechanical drawings, piping diagrams, plans, and schedules.
• Review shop drawings for accuracy and compliance.
• Conduct detailed site surveys.
• Apply working knowledge of mechanical and building codes.

Required Skills & Experience

• 8+ years of professional experience in mechanical engineering.
• Expert proficiency in Revit for 3D drafting.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Strong experience in HVAC design, mechanical load calculations, and equipment sizing.
• Familiarity with boilers, chillers, and pumps.
• Solid understanding of mechanical and building codes.
• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (BSME).

Preferred Qualifications

• Willingness to travel (infrequent, may include out-of-state projects).
• Experience with a variety of systems including HVAC, pumps, chillers, and boilers.
• PE license not required.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $37.00 - $44.00/hr.
