Position Overview
As a Machine Tool Engineer Intern, you will work closely with experienced engineers to support the design, improvement, and documentation of specialized machine tools. This role provides hands-on exposure to mechanical engineering concepts, industrial applications, and real-world problem-solving in a supportive environment.

Requirements
Key Responsibilities
Assist in defining the scope and requirements of machine tool design projects
Support creation of manufacturing drawings using AutoCAD and SolidWorks
Participate in reviewing and selecting mechanical and machine components
Join in design reviews, brainstorming sessions, and project meetings
Help prepare and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs)
Document design processes, updates, and engineering solutions
Collaborate with machinists, technicians, and subject matter experts on engineering tasks
Reverse engineer existing equipment by mechanically measuring components and modeling legacy drawings
Catalog parts according to company standard naming conventions and database requirements
Qualifications
Currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field
Familiarity with CAD software such as AutoCAD and SolidWorks
Basic understanding of mechanical design principles
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Effective verbal and written communication abilities
Problem-solving mindset and eagerness to learn
