job summary:
Manufacturer in the Tulsa area is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to add to their team. The ideal candidate will have a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and solid manufacturing experience. Excellent drafting skills required and experience with AutoCAD and Inventor desired as well as Microsoft Office software. Knowledge of steel fabrication desired as well as knowledge of ASME boiler pressure vessel code. This position boasts paid overtime, excellent benefits and relocation if needed.

All candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.

responsibilities:

• Design product per customer specification and American Society of Mechanical Engineering (ASME) codes; American Petroleum Institute (API), American Society of Civil Engineering (ASCE) and American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC).

• Prepare design calculations and customer drawings per above standards

• Work individually and with a team in a fast-paced environment

Requirements:

• General knowledge of welded steel fabrication practices

• Knowledge of ASME codes as well as API, ASCE and AISC

• Excellent drafting skills

• Experience with AutoCAD and Inventor design software or similar

• Bachelor\'s degree in Mechanical Engineering desired; will consider candidates with 10 years of experience in lieu of degree
