Work Schedule: Hybrid -- 3 days in-office, 2 days remote
Salary Range: $85,280-$100,000, based on experience

General Responsibilities
As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will independently prepare, plan, and execute small to medium-sized healthcare projects with general supervision. You'll apply standard design techniques, perform engineering calculations, and contribute to construction documentation and administration.
Design & Technical Leadership

• Apply advanced engineering concepts to solve complex HVAC and medical gas design challenges
• Perform detailed engineering and economic calculations and modeling
• Troubleshoot operating systems and resolve technical disputes

Education & Certification

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• EIT (Engineer in training) is a plus
• Additional certifications are a plus

Experience Required

• 0-2 years of engineering design and/or project management experience
• Comfortable presenting complex engineering concepts to clients and stakeholders

Working Knowledge

• Microsoft Office Suite
• AutoCAD
• Revit
• California Building Code is a plus
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects under pressure
• Effective oral and written communication skills
