Job Description

This position focuses on developing and designing new products, methods, and procedures for customer applications, while supporting manufacturing operations. The role involves conceptualizing products, managing project plans, and ensuring smooth transfer to production.
The Mechanical Design Engineer will report into the Engineering Manager and be responsible for:

• Develop and design new products, procedures, and methods for customer applications.
• Create conceptual designs from drawings or verbal instructions and improve existing products.
• Maintain and track project plans, schedules, and associated costs.
• Collaborate with customers and sales teams on product development and manufacturing techniques.
• Transfer new product information to manufacturing and train personnel on new techniques.
• Provide technical support to manufacturing, sales, and marketing for new product introductions.
• Maintain engineering documentation and ensure customer approval processes are met.

A successful Mechanical Design Engineer should have:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 3-10 years of experience in engineering or manufacturing engineering roles.
• Strong project planning, quoting, and cost estimation skills.
• Technical expertise to advance products in line with market needs.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar).
