Our client, a world leader in the semiconductor industry, is looking for a "Mechanical Design Engineer 2".
Job Title: Mechanical Design Engineer 2
Shift Hours: 9 AM- 5 PM
Job Duration: Long-term Contract on W2 (Onsite)
Location: Milpitas, CA

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with other engineering groups such as optics, systems, manufacturing, service engineers to develop next generation opto-mechanical mechanisms for BBP product line

• Sustain existing BBP products, support manufacturing ramp. Work with manufacturing design engineer to improve the production flow and process.

• Design, build and release manufacturing tooling for operation.

• Create & maintain Bill of Material (BoM), drawings and technical procedure.

• Calculation of critical design parameters (tolerance, mechanism, thermal etc)

Required skills:

• Mechanical engineering or Some experience in the design of precision mechanisms, tolerance analysis

• CAD experience (Creo preferred)

• FEA experience is a plus

• 0-3 years industrial mechanical design experience or related mechanical design projects (Preferred)
