Job Description
Job Summary Commercial Mechanical is seeking a construction professional to employ as an Assistant Project Manager for a full-time position. The Assistant Project Manager is responsible for assisting our Project Management team in various commercial construction tasks in the local Utah mechanical industry. The ideal candidate will have some construction management experience with mechanical related experience being a plus. Duties and Responsibilities:
- Report to our project management team to assist with the following:
- Project documentation including submittals, RFIs, change proposals, purchase orders, subcontracts, project closeout, etc.
- Project scheduling will include working with the project manager to establish a baseline schedule and maintain its accuracy throughout construction.
- Assist the project manager in interactions with clients and vendors.
- 1-5 years previous experience on commercial construction projects.
- Knowledge of computer software (i.e. Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, Adobe).
- Some knowledge of contract documents (i.e. Contracts, Specifications, Plans).
- Ability to conduct yourself diplomatically with our team and customers.
- Must be able to prioritize tasks and work efficiently.
- Wage will be based on experience. The annual salary range is 50-70k.
