Acumen Enterprises, Inc. has an opportunity for a Mechanical Assistant Project Manager. The Mechanical Assistant Project Manager will be responsible for preparing and coordinating the preparation of project estimates on small and large projects.
Key Responsibilities

• General assistant to the estimator as needed in the bidding of mechanical projects.
• Analyzes requests for proposals for bid requirements.
• Gathering and organizing information and finalizing proposals.
• Communicates with estimators to clarify requirements and documents these clarifications.
• Assists with final assembly of estimate for presentation to owner.
• Participation in and documentation of project coordination meetings.
• Consults with clients, vendors, and other individuals to discuss and resolve issues.
• After the bid, collects and organizes all bid information for future reference.
• Develop and maintain effective relationships with subcontractors to obtain a competitive advantage for Acumen
• Attends industry events and represents Acumen to the industry in a professional capacity.

Qualifications

• Solid interpersonal and communication skills.
• Highly self-motivated with ability to perform with minimal supervision.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Strong computer skills.
• General knowledge of construction principles and processes.
• Knowledge of GSA, TXMAS and TIPS contracts preferred.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year

Education:

• Bachelor's (Preferred)

Experience:

• Mechanical Experience: 5 years (Preferred)
• Project Management: 3 years (Preferred)
